In recent years, with the promotion of the idea of global Industry 4.0 and the strategy of Made in China 2025, the development of domestic vehicle industry gradually shows the new trend of intelligentization and digitization. As a test company of digitalized factory within SAIC MOTOR, SAGW has successfully implemented optimization and introduction of SAP to subordinate companies, online application of BCM in headquarters and subordinate companies and introduction of MAXIMO to subordinate companies which enables the planning blueprint of the information system “one verticality & one horizontality” to come into practice. SAGW will also strengthen the information system construction and boost the efficient operation of the company with an aim to fulfill the task of the second “Three Years”. On August 3rd, Mr. Qian XiangYang, the general manager of SAGW signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Li Ling, vice president of Siemens PLM Software in China.

Li Ling, vice president of Siemens PLM Software in China，made a speech on the conference that on the way to Industry 4.0, Siemens will provide the best PLM software and technical support to help SAGW build into a digital enterprise.

Qian XiangYang, the general manager of SAGW said that SAGW makes a long-term commitment to the construction of a digital factory, and will take the opportunity of this strategic cooperation agreement to strength the cooperation with Siemens, learning its successful experience and methods and bringing into practice, in order to lay a solid foundation for the digital transformation of SAGW.
